In response to my previous blog, my mom sent me a long email. Toward the end, one line struck home wtih me.
"Kadon doesn't want a nicer Mom, he wants his Dad back, so don't beat yourself over that."
Thank you, Mom--for seeing the truth when I couldn't. It helps knowing that simple fact.
