Memory Lane

I saw this game on my friend Alisha's blog, and thought it would be a lot of fun. The more people play, the better it will be!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

My favorite memory with you is when we went to Blue Bird on one of our run away nights. It was the first time I had had their cream soda, and it was wonderful! I don't think you've ever recommended something to me that wasn't wonderful though. I really miss running away with you, and am looking forward to having you back "home" even if it will be difficult for you. (((HUGS)))

I'll play! I'll post this on my blog, too!

Let's see...my memory of you is from when we met for the first time IRL and you brought me a Coke. I was actually really touched, even though there was a joke behind it. LOL

I have always felt a connection with you on the board, like we were old friends though we knew nothing about eachother. Sounds strange, I know. It's like we were friends at first post. (insert corny eye roll from everyone...I know it's there)

So, that's it from me!

I remember doing your hair on your wedding day and of course, being at your wedding. I remember Ammon started to cry as the bishop was performing the ceremony. I think I remember that because he just didn't seem like the type, I know differently now, a big ol' teddy bear! I also remember seeing you come out of the temple with Ammon and how happy you two looked. It was so pretty that day. I also remember you and Rose giving me a thong on my 16th birday...so embarracing! I remember getting ready and going to Junior Prom together and even though it should of been (at the time) one of the worst nights of my life it actually turned out to be a lot of fun! I also remember calling you when I burnt the kitchen floor with oil. I was terrified I would not see the next day!

Yearbook was fun. I thought that it was a blast. Here is a memory that I don't really remember but it happened. I was looking through pictures and found some of preschool graduation. I had totally forgot that we were even in the same preschool class together! I will have to scan it some time and email it to you!

I remember inviting you to can Salsa with me. We were so excited, and then you were so amazed at the work load. It was yummy salsa though. I also remember scrapbooking together.

which one, which one...
the first one that came to mind was sitting at your kitchen table in Hyrum and talking about your brother, and your history with Ammon. The kids were all playing nicely in the back room. I guess I'm just sentimental, becasue that's one of my favorite memories from my friendship with you.

Okay well I dont have a lot of memories of you since your sister in law had to move away...sad :( But I do remember really hitting it off quick with you. We met at a church ice cream social and I was really mego pregnant. You had just had your second boy!!!...and your first had just been found running down DD highway while we sat socializing in the cultural hall! You kept in touch with me sending me Christmas cards and I being really really bad at sending out cards never sent you any back...so sorry about that! The next time I saw you was on New Years eve 2006/07. We were over at Angela's chit chatting about nothing and didnt really even celebrate the new year!...I dont think they had tv to watch the ball drop. Okay I could probably go on, b/c we talked about a lot of stuff, but this is just a few thoughts about us. Oh one more...you were the first to feed my then baby Lauren cake icing! (At a relief society Christmas party)...Im sure you dont remember, but its true! Love ya girl

We haven't really done too much together. In fact last New Years was the only thing we've done. We had a great time. That was one of the first times we'd had friends over in years.

Lets see....one memory? Wow this is going to be hard. I think my favorite memory was the night I came and watched your kids while Ammon took you to get your tooth taken care of. When you came back you were totally out of it and craving TAMALES! He he....LOL! That was a good memory.

I swear I left a memory here a few days ago! I must not have hit the post button.

My memory of you is receiving the ornament from you last year. I absolutely loved it and my kids were so excited to get something fun in the mail!

One memory I have is when we all went to dinner (Chili's??). You were talking about one night that Ammon was having a hard time with school and everything that goes along with that stress. He laid down on the couch and you pulled the coffee table right up next to him, and laid on it so you could be with him. The way you told it was so cute and so funny. I remember thinking what an awesome relationship you guys had, and I couldn't think of a better way to handle that situation than with that little bit of humor. I still think about that to this day. It was a good lesson for me, because I tend to take things so seriously. A little humor can go a long way to ease a tense situation. Thanks for that little lesson. Oh! One other quick memory was when I told you your boys were really cute IRL, and you said something like "as opposed to them being not so cute on the board?" LOL You know what I meant to say, it didn't come out the way I was thinking it though. :)
